August theme: wabi-sabi
ATC – these are Artists’ Trading Cards and measure 2.5 x 3.5 inches.
To quote from Serena Barton’s book entitled wabi-sabi, ‘the term comes from two Japanese words and refers to that which is imperfect, impermanent, aged, humble and authentic’. I did not really find this helpful as a guide to interpreting the theme for this set of ATCs, so my cards look much like my other mini collages! I know the recipients will understand.
