June – the year is going by!
I have been twice to the National Gallery to see After Impressionism Such a marvellous collection of pictures and artists. I shall go again.
Also to see Barbara Hepworth at the Towner in Eastbourne. I remember seeing lovely sculptures in the garden at her museum in St. Ives, Cornwall – they look so much more beautiful in a garden in my opinion.
And to Hastings Contemporary to see Soutine/Kossoff Love Soutine’s painting and this was a different selection to those shown at the Courtauld’s exhibition which was fantastic.
March Here is one of my final pictures from the course.

Visited the Towner in Eastbourne and enjoyed two galleries showing pictures from the collection. The gallery is in its second (purpose built) home now and is celebrating 100 years. Many pictures came from the original gallery at Manor House.
Now it’s February! Working on Lewis Rossignol’s Mixed-Media Painting workshop. Here is one of my paintings from Lesson 2.

15th January – I have begun the year, honest! What have I been doing: tidying, clearing space to continue panels begun last year, decommissioning an old desktop so I don’t suddenly find I’ve deleted the only copy of jpgs of my older paintings, entered the RWS Open competition… Visited new exhibitions: none yet. Finished coursework: not yet. Oh dear.
