This is a tiny image – only 4.5 inches square – but I find it pleasing because you have to seek out the man of the title. A representation of a happy day out exploring the surroundings of an old English church.

  1. I see the outline of the man.. the church not so much, maybe I’m just art blind?

  2. I actually see two people. One is a profile and one is a shadow. Isn’t wonderful that we see different things in each others’ work that perhaps was not intended. I love this piece!
