I totally get your questions in your comment section. It happens to me all the time. Pieces appear seemingly out of nowhere in my work. For me starting a piece and just letting it take on a life of its own is exhilarating. Also contemplating on a piece and just letting it rest seems to help the piece become what it will be. The brain at night seems to be working on a problem and all of a sudden a solution arrives. Crazy fun! I really like this piece, Catherine.
