Not this time – I walk away, head held high.
Now, come on! Which of you ate those toes?
Another weird fantasy set of creatures pulled out of random marks.
She holds her dummy close even while she isn’t speaking. An unlikely subject which appeared out of my collage. Image 10×8 inches (25×20 cm).
But who cares. If you like it, wear it.
A woman’s face. Her expression is sad, lost in her own thoughts maybe. An experimental collage which seems to be complete at this stage. I like it anyway!
Mixed media on paper, the image measures 8×10 inches (20×25.5 cm).
I feel for this lady! Mixed media on paper, image 8×10 inches (20×25.5 cm). Have a giggle!
Is she an artist’s model? Or just a woman enjoying the warmth falling on her through the blinds which provide seclusion?
A mixed media piece with collage, contour drawing and distortion!
Image 8×10 inches (20×25.5 cm).
Last post of the year – wish it was warm enough to sit around in the nude!
Happy New Year.
Monotype drawing with collage of decorated papers. Approx. 8×10 inches (20×25.5 cm). She looks lost in thought and melancholic – please Like her!
Hmm. An ink drawing collaged onto decorated papers. Sadly the paper turned out to be very delicate and one of her legs fell off in the process – poor lady! But I like the picture anyway. Image 8×10.5 inches (20×27 cm).
A subject which presented itself, emerging from the collage background. Mixed media. Image 10.5×7.5 inches (27×19 cm). Silly but fun!
In celebration of beautiful autumn weather today! A mixed media work with collage. Image 8.25×11.25 inches (21×28.5 cm).
A silly mixed media picture! Image 10×7.5 inches (26×18 cm).
An illustration made on the iPad to accompany a very morbid fairy tale in the series with Carla Sonheim. Here a princess picks flowers in an enchanted garden, little knowing each one will transform one of her brothers into a raven.
A vivid/lurid background for the drawn figure with a weary face. What is her story? Image size 7.5×6.5 inches (19×16.5 cm).
A fun experiment in trying to get a sumi-e look on the iPad using the Brushes App. The sparrow ‘paintings’ were then printed on silk and added to a background of prepared papers in a collage.
Size 7×5 inches (18×13 cm)
