Arnold’s party
An evening workshop with Royal Drawing School on Rhythm and Colour. Began with quick poses and then moving poses and finally created a ‘party’ with three versions of Arnold plus invented figures based on clothes hanging around the set.
Life continues
Another modern miracle: model in Argentina, sketchers worldwide. Excellently run workshop from Draw Brighton with 1 minute, 3 minute and up to 20 minute poses.
Cafe jazz
I don’t get so many chances to do blind drawings of folk at jazz dates now but enjoyed many such occasions in the past.

She holds her dummy close even while she isn’t speaking. An unlikely subject which appeared out of my collage. Image 10×8 inches (25×20 cm).

A woman’s face. Her expression is sad, lost in her own thoughts maybe. An experimental collage which seems to be complete at this stage. I like it anyway!

Is she an artist’s model? Or just a woman enjoying the warmth falling on her through the blinds which provide seclusion?

Hmm. An ink drawing collaged onto decorated papers. Sadly the paper turned out to be very delicate and one of her legs fell off in the process – poor lady! But I like the picture anyway. Image 8×10.5 inches (20×27 cm).
