…it’s only a bit of fun!

Oh dear. Sometimes when I draw these things that appear from nowhere I feel concern for my sanity…
Found images in acrylic media on printing paper. Image 6×6 inches (15×15 cm) approximately.
A portrait that grew from eyes that ‘appeared’ in a kind of swirling paint mix. Image 8×10 inches (20×25.5 cm), mixed media on paper. Reproductions for sale in my print on demand shop.

A boldly coloured version of an earlier drawing. You can see the original charcoal drawing on this blog. (I think I rather prefer the charcoal! You can’t win ’em all.)
Reproduction available here.

A suitable picture for Easter and spring. Hope we see the sun… Image 5.5×7.25 inches. This is a mixed media painting which I completed while following an online course with Diane Culhane. There aren’t enough hours in the day to do all the painting I want to – all such fun.
It’s available as a print, greeting card or phone case.

A picture built up and destroyed several times and bearing the signs of this attack. Patches of gold, text, hand-decorated papers and added paint combine to create the final image. It measures 8 x 8 inches and is on heavyweight watercolour paper, ready to frame under glass.

A small mixed media painting 7 x 5 inches on heavy watercolour paper. Is the boat going the right way? Will it escape the rocks?
Reproductions of this painting in different formats or as a greetings card are available here.
