Hmm. An ink drawing collaged onto decorated papers. Sadly the paper turned out to be very delicate and one of her legs fell off in the process – poor lady! But I like the picture anyway. Image 8×10.5 inches (20×27 cm).

A tiny collage picture (ATC size) which includes a reproduction of a detail from a larger painting. It is so strange how the tilt of the head, the surrounding colour etc. changes everything – she looked quite happy before!

The original portrait sold long ago but this new version is available as a print in various formats here.

A fun experiment in trying to get a sumi-e look on the iPad using the Brushes App. The sparrow ‘paintings’ were then printed on silk and added to a background of prepared papers in a collage.

Size 7×5 inches (18×13 cm)

A mixed media painting with layers of paint and collaged papers. Only 5.5 x 7.5 inches but it has a lot of detail and decoration. A very strange flower that is difficult to find in the wild. Painted on heavy watercolour paper, ready to frame under glass.

A painting I’m fond of and have on the screen of one of my ancient laptops. Various children have asked if I painted it and how I did it. Well, you just get some very absorbent paper, drop colours on it, wait for it to dry, drop more colour and repeat! Then, if you haven’t made a hole or got it a horrible colour, you think of a name. Image size 7.5 inches square approximately.
